I gathered up my inks and my stamp set from Sin City Scraps called A Wing Above the Rest to make my fabulous tag with. If you are like me I love tags and the more unique the better. I made this one to add to one of scrapbook pages for our trip we took to Alaska because it was such an adventure.
So I started my tag by doing multiple stamping of the winged corset stamp on to different sheets of 7Gypsies Postal Papers using my Memento ink.
I fussy cut out all of the images, inked the edges with brown ink, glued them together. Make sure that you only glue the corset part of the stamped image, leave the wings free for flight.
I stamped my tag twice with the background stamp that is the Wings Above the Rest set using black ink. Using my Wild Honey, Broken China, Wild Honey along with my blending tool I covered my background stamp.
Once the background was finished I started layering my paper by first adding my stamped world image to the side of my tag and then placing my "Winged Corset" to the top of the tag. Make sure you only glue the corset, leaving the wings free so you are able to bend them up in flight.
I added a few 7Gypsies gears, paper clip and a paper ribbon to the bottom of the tag that I stamped "Adventure" to. I hope you try your hand at making some unique tags and check out the stamps at Sin City Scraps since they have some very, very unique ones. Hugs Pammejo

I LOVE this tag. The detailed cutting is amazing! and I LOVE the stamps! Especially the background stamp.
ReplyDeletePam! Your tag is stunning! Love steampunk--and I appreciate the balance (not over done). I so envy you gals who stamp, color and then fussy cut. Amazing talent.
